Roderigo is a Venetian who is in "love" with Desdemona, but no matter how many times he tries to woo her, she turns her down.
"love" is in quotations because we are not really sure if he's in love with her or just wants her for her body.
Roderigo is desperate to have Desdemona that he was too stupid to realize that his partner, Iago, who was suppose to help him is exploiting him for his money.
Barbantio is an important face in Venice for he is a senator. He is Desdemona's father, and it seems that he takes great liking on Othello because he invited him a few times to his house to tell his stories.
Barbantio is a very racial character because he thinks that his daughter can not fall in love with someone like Othello; a moor. He accuses Othello of using witchcraft to win his daughter.
Governor of Cyprus. He appears to be Othello's great friend. He got into a fight with Cassio during the party.
Lodovico
Lodovico is Desdemona's cousin. He witnessed Othello slap and the whole tragedy in the play. He was to tell the world about what he had witnessed and torture Iago for what he has caused.
